The track was produced by Merion Krazy and sees her flexing her unapologetic confidence and the inspiration behind the single was a bad break up "I was trying to find different ways to cope with a really bad breakup, I eventually started writing music, and I'd write these really aggressive lyrics that would help me vent and get out all of my frustrations. So when I was writing 'Beating Down Yo Block,' I had that person in mind."
She attacked the beat with a solid flow and delivered bars on top of bars and left you wanting more, with lyrics like this "Don't ask me bout my ex, let's just pretend that ni**a died, ain't no pressure about no nigga, tell his ass to fall in line. And if he can't get right, I'm just gon take it as a sign, cause for this next line you gotta look me in my eyes, If you think Imma sweat you, you out your motherfucking mind"
This girl is destined for greatness and this a great introduction, looking forward to seeing what she has in store for us as she grows as an artist.
