Belgian singer/songwriter Selah Sue is completely the package when it comes to what you want in a pop artist, her vocals are solid and unique and her songwriting is appealing and so direct and her sound is so pure and refreshing and she gives me Lauryn Hill/Amy Winehouse tease especially with her track "Raggamuffin".
She has premiered her visual for her single "Alone" which serves as the title-track from her EP which was also released back in 28th November and it also serves as the first single from her forthcoming album titled "Reason", which is slated to be released in March 30 via Because Music.
The song is an upbeat number that finds showcasing her soulful and sassy vocals as she sing about the demise of a romance over a groovy production that features layers of hand clapping beats and plucky lite-disco guitars. The Alexander Brown directed visual sees her looking simply beautiful as she confronts a myriad of reflections as she sings, totally capturing the feeling that she expresses through this song.
