Jazmine Sullivan Premieres A Very Emotional 'Forever Don't Last' Video
The "Fearless" songstress Jazmine Sullivan has finally premiered her official music video for her single "Forever Don't Last," which serves as the second official single lifted from her highly anticipated third album "Reality Show2, which is slated to be released next year and features production work from likes Salaam Remi, Anthony Bell, and Key Wane.
"Forever Don't Last" is a stripped-down ballad allows Sullivan to showcase her powerhouse vocals as she sings about a relationship that she tried to save but she has come to accept the reality of the relationship: "Lord knows I gave it my all, I couldn't save us from falling cause some people aren't meant to be together forever. "
"The most personal song is called 'Forever [Don't Last],'" "I'm basically crying on that song. It's a ballad, and that's classic Jazmine. It's a letting-go song which is why it's so personal. I feel like I came to a point in my relationship where [I needed] to let go and move on. I just had to do it." She said during her interview with Billboard .
Sullivan co-directed the visual which finds her traveling to her grandparents` house to see what an real everlasting relationship is as she deals with a painful breakup of relationship that was suppose to her getting married, which shows that fairytale romance doesn’t happen for everyone. While I love the song and some of the scenes I wish the whole package featured a quality produvtion and RCA seriosuly needs to put money behind her project as so far the promotion is lacking and honestly she needs a more stronger single to truly kick start this era.
Anywho, watch the visual of "Forever Don't Last" below.
