Jessie Ware gearing up to releasing her upcoming second album called "Tough Love" due out on October 13th (out October 21 in the U.S.) and premiered two new tracks lifted from the project, called "Pieces" and “Kind Of…Sometimes…Maybe” that she co-wrote with the talented Grammy Award-winner Miguel.
"Pieces" is a beautiful string-driven that she co-wrote with Jimmy Napes and Tourist and produced by Emile Haynie, it finds her singing about feeling absolutely destroyed after a breakup:"A reason to live, reason to love. You gave me them both and more; yet a reason to fall and a reason to hide, Suddenly all I’m left with…I was so sure this was real, but now I’m sure of nothing at all. I had to shatter to pieces, you made me reveal myself, reveal myself. So if you no longer need them, then I`ll give them to someone else."
Love the slow build as it allows the listens to feel the emotion she expresses as she goes through this sad moment.
“Kind Of…Sometimes…Maybe” is a breathlessly stunning, sensual track that was produced by BenZel (Benny Blanco and Two Inch Punch) it finds her singing about finding it hard to truly express her feelings about missing her ex beau: “Do I get lonely at all? No, cause Jamie and Johnny and Jack keep me warm. This wasn't my fault, I don't cry, God no, I don't cry. Could you just leave it alone? You keep haunting my nights, you keep asking me twice if I miss you at all and I won't lie, though I try...”
It`s an irresistible track with Miguel murmuring sweet nothings in track's background, perfect for the bedroom.
