New Music: Queen And Michael Jackson - ‘There Must Be More To Life Than This’

The legendary British band Queen have confirmed the release date of their upcoming record titled "Queen Forever" scheduled to be released on 10 November via Virgin Records, which will be their first album since 1995’s "Made In Heaven" and it`s reported that it will feature previously unreleased tracks recorded with frontman Freddie Mercury before his death in 1991. 

“Most of it comes from the ’80′s when we were in full flight. It is quite emotional. It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound.“ Brian May said


The album will also feature the William Orbit-produced Michael Jackson collaboration "There Must Be More To Life Than This" which was originally recorded in 1983 and was premiered on Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

"When I first played it in my studio, I opened a trove of delights provided by the greatest of musicians, hearing Michael Jackson's vocals was stirring. So vivid, so cool, and poignant, it was like he was in the studio singing live. With Freddie's vocal solo on the mixing desk, my appreciation for his gift was taken to an even higher level." Orbit said.

 ‘There Must Be More To Life Than This’is a guitar driven rock number that sounds like your  traditional Queen song with a powerful message attached to it. Jackson delivered some strong vocals that blended well with the production and complimented Freddie`s strong vocals over a with a beautiful melody.
