K. Michelle has premiered her newest single titled “Love ‘Em All” which serves as the lead single from her upcoming second studio album that will follow up her 2013 debut album “Rebellious Soul”, which did pretty well debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
“Love ‘Em All” sees her tackling a different sound than what we are used to from her, she sings over rock and pop influences as she sing about being a player which is such a rare topic nowadays because women who go from man to man are usually seen as sluts while men do the same and everyone says nothing, so props to her to showing that women can play with a few fellas and have fun: “They say I move too fast, going man to man. Always holding a new hand”.
Vocally she sounds amazing as usual and lyrically she is showcasing alot of growth as she attacks this topic with so much understanding and heart, while it`s cool that she showing that women can be players too but she also telling how deep her situation is of going from one man to another without fully making peace with their previous one: "I need another one to get over the other one.."
It has a great crossover appeal without losing her soulful sound.
