New Music: Mirel Wagner – “The Dirt”

Ethiopian-born Finnish artist ​Mirel Wagner has recently premiered her newest single titled  “The Dirt”which follows up “Oak Tree” the lead single off her upcoming sophomore album "When The Cellar Children See The Light", slated for release on 11th August via Sub Pop.


“The Dirt” is a minimalistic bluesy track with heavily strummed guitar driven production that she laces up with rich - haunting vocals and direct lyrics that have a dark appeal to them: "You can’t eat the dirt even if you wanna, you can’t eat the dirt even if you wanna, you can’t breathe the dirt even if you wanna but you’ll be in the dirt, you’ll be the dirt.."
