Los Angeles songstress BANKS has premiered a new track called “Beggin' For Thread” which is lifted from her upcoming debut album "Goddess" slated to be released on September 8th via Harvest Records. It will feature 18 tracks which include her singles “This Is What It Feels Like”, “Waiting Game” and “Drowning”.
“Beggin For Thread” is a little more up-tempo than her previous offerings from the album, it was produced by Tim Anderson and Jesse Rogg, who evoke an atmospheric ambience featuring zippy synths and reverberating percussion and her sultry vocals mirrored the production perfectly, displaying alot of rawness and emotion: “I got itches that scratch and sometimes I don’t got a filter but I’m so tired of even, I love my misspoken words, I know my disposition gets confusing. my disproportionate reactions fuse with my eager state, that's why you wanna come out and play with me...”
Her music is well-written, catchy and atmospheric, and I love her.
