Luke James has been on the music scene for quite a while now and has managed to earn a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance for his single "I Want You" back in 2013, which introduced him to the world and saw him being a supporting act for Beyonce during her "Mrs Carter Tour". Since then he has been hard at work on his debut studio album which was originally titled "Made To Love", is now a self-titled album due out on 23rd September 23rd.
The powerful vocalist has recently premiered his newest single called “Options” featuring Rick Ross, it is an engaging mid-tempo with a tense piano-hard drum production that finds James ponders if he made the right decision in a relationship: “Red or green, so what’s it going to be. Cuz I’ve never been a fan of running, that’s right, the pain will make me, we’ll see. But you can never see the future coming, so girl I’m just thinking about our options..”.
The lyric visual plays out like an actual music video and reveals the deeper meaning behind the song’s serious subject matter. Watch it below and lookout for his directorial debut with the upcoming official music video when it's released soon.
