Canadian singer-songwriter Kiesza has enjoyed some great success from her breakthrough single ‘Hideaway’ which topped the charts in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands. Now she returns with a new single 'Giant In My Heart' which serves as the official second single lifted from her forthcoming debut album to be released later in 2014 via indie label Lokal Legend.
I do find it quite shocking that a major label hasn’t signed Kiesza yet but more power to her because she has managed to achieve great success as indie artist and DJs are supporting her music enough for people to buy it and it`s great music.
‘Giant In My Heart’ is another electro-pop number that features a old-school vibe throughout the song, it creates a great foundation for her to showcase her vocals as she sings about rest break-up from her boyfriend. “What am I supposed to do, in my heart there's only you. I'm still not over you, over you”.
She has another hit on her hands while it won`t be a big as "Hideaway" but I do see it doing amazingly well on the charts and create more buzz around her and her debut album.
